some pos systems only read track two only .you can usually if the pos is a track one reader or a track two due to the name coming up on the screen meaning its a track one reader . my question to you is why do you just build the other track . i have a fairly large dead dumps collection so i can usually build what ever track im missing . anyways the answer to you r question is yes you can go instore carding with just a track two on the mag strip but if your not seasoned with knowing how to tell your pos systems apart then i suggest trying to build the missing track . i lil check to check if your card is ready to shop is here in the usa we have soda pop/ candy machines . if you find one of these that has a credit card reader on the front you can go try to buy a drink . if the machine says select a drink then you know the card is valid so i just push cancel so that its basically a soft authorization and no harm is done to the card .if you need help just hit me up
